At Rentokil Initial Australia we are committed to helping to improve the environment of the communities we work in.

Specifically, we aim to support local Australian schools & their communities in the areas of:

• environmental improvement & protection programs
• supporting education of Australians in environmental science & biology
• supporting innovation in "green" technology including water efficiency and waste reduction.

Rentokil Initial can support school projects and activities with sponsorships of up to $2,000 or provide in-kind support of products & services where appropriate. Examples of the school sponsorship we could support:

• local school projects to improve the local environment
• support with development of education kit or resource to help improve local environment
• school groups developing "green" technology projects to improve energy efficiency for their community.
• Sponsoring school program to protect local endangered animal e.g. by helping reduce affect of pests and predators.

All sponsorship / donation requests must be considered to have a good fit with Rentokil Initial core values in helping to improve areas of environment, health and hygiene.

Proposals must be made in writing (and submitted by email) and clearly outline details of sponsorship support sought. They must also meet the following guidelines to be eligible for consideration:

• Who are you and what do you do - name & brief outline of school requesting the funding, contact details of main person in charge of project, phone, fax, email and postal address;
• What are your objectives for your school project?
• How much funding are you seeking?
• How will you use the money? - outline the primary purpose for which the sponsorship is requested.
• When will your project / activity take place? - outline relevant dates the project / sponsorship will take place.
• Are there any other sponsors involved?

Sponsorship requests will be considered on a regular basis, however we receive more requests than we are likely to fund and final decisions are made based on fit with our core values, and on geographic and demographic equity (i.e. spread of projects from rural, regional and metropolitan areas).

Sufficient time needs to be made to properly consider requests that come in. As such, all requests must have a minimum lead-time of 6-8 weeks prior to the event / project commencing.

What we do not fund:

• Requests for the following will not be considered:
• Proposals that do not reflect Rentokil Initial core values and brand attributes;
• Programs that put down, exclude or offend minority community groups;
• Political or religious activities;
• Projects based outside of Australia ;
• Projects that could potentially cause damage to the environment;
• Programs that could present a hazard to the community;
• Programs that promote tobacco, alcohol, drugs or dangerous activities.
• Programs sponsored by competitors;
• Individuals seeking support or raising money.
• Cash sponsorships of more than $2,000 cannot be considered.
